I`m working on my last two knives for March, so, since my wife has noticed I`m not real busy, she has decided I should refinish the hardwood floors in the living room and dining room. :( I tried to tell her I need to get a jump on April orders, but she has seen my order book, so no dice, I`ll be starting on the floors next week.
 
I refinished our oak floors before moving into our house.

So much dust it blew my mind. I chose to use one of those 300lb. oscillating sanders, not the big belt sander kind because I was doing this for the first time and I really didn't want our floors to double as a skateboard park. It's not perfect as I have a good number of pigtail scratches here and there, but I saved a ton of cash by doing it myself and the bragging rights were considerable.

I did ours once before, about 6 years ago, good times!!! My house was built in the early 1930`s, and these are the original floors. BTW- your blade is in the oven tempering right now.
