Last weekend's trip

Too many pics to post in the "A Pic a Day" thread so I'll put them here.

I went to Northern California to visit my "brother" (we grew up together) and his family. He lives in Roseville which is just on the other side of the Donner Pass from Reno Nevada. Turns out timing was perfect for the Reno Gun Show last Saturday so we jumped in truck and headed out there. Here are some pics I took along the way. Probably not a big deal to most of you guys, but for a Southern California guy who lives where it doesn't snow and it is not unusual to be 80 degrees on Christmas, it was a winter wonderland.

As pretty as it is up there, I hate that pass. I've chained up often going over that.
The one thing I like is the sign on the east bound side that says something like "chain up area use sholder."
You'd think that they could spell check before putting the sign out on the highway.
