Spent last week at my friend's ranch somewhat north of AZ.

Rattle is from a 5-footer (quote: "Biggest @#$%ing snake I've seen all year!"); I took its head clean off at about 10' w/ the .44 mag. The BATAC took the rattle off like it wasn't even attached.

Nope, no pics of the whole snake, he's lying on a trail somewhere missing both ends. ;) When you've got a choice of buffalo, pronghorn, venison, lamb, and beef there's no real reason to bother eating a varmint.

The .44 is a S&W 29-2 with an 8 3/8" barrel. I had to make that holster about 3 days before we headed up because I couldn't find a lefty holster ANYWHERE. The folder is a Browning model 579, Bailey Bradshaw designed.

nice job on the holster --- and nice equipment all the way around!

its just unfortunate that we can't EDC that sort of gear around town anymore :D

Thanks Xaman. Technically with open carry here in AZ I'd still be allowed to carry that rig in town but I'd sure get a lot of terrified looks, what with the influx of sheeple from various Peoples' Democratic Republics.

I've had the Browning folder for a year or so. I honestly don't remember where I got it. :( It was a limited run of only 500. Check Google Products, maybe...?

Hey, nice pic. Who makes that knife sheath? Been lookin for one for my BK7...

As a matter of fact, that sheath (in the LONG version, not the short) is the standard rig that came with both the the BK-7SG (serrated version) and the BK-77 Extreme .

Made for Camillus by Spec Ops. See pic:
