Hello,
I rediscovered my late uncles hunting knife that he left me in 1958. Didn't know Google would discover your knife site so I could join and ask a question!
End to end is 10 1/8" in lenght. Has Western, Boulder, Colo, Pat 1987479? I think? Blade is about 7/8" tall. He lived in Oregon and I think he used it for hunting. I would post a picture but I do not understand how to.
Any information oul be appreciated it. By the way, do they have valve if they are used?
Thanks in advance,
Jim

There are tutorials at the top of the forums. They list rules, and how to post pictures.

Find Bernard Levine's forum. Read the directions on how to post a picture (I do it by using a free hosting site, like photo bucket). You will want close up, clear pics of the markings, and the whole knife, and handle, at the least. Try to take them straight on.

Non paying members are not allowed to ask "value" questions, because it is a way that users get around paying for a membership, but still try to sell their knives.

Welcome, and good luck.
