I finished this founders edition 112 up for an order a while ago. Filework, red liners, jeancarta scales. Hope he likes it, what do you think?

The jeancarta looks nicer in person, the picture makes it look rather dark.

Very nice MM, does the "jeancarta" have any color highlights in it or is it black?

But did Hoyt wear jeans??? Wasn't homespun in style back then??? :D

muskrat man - do you make your own "jeancarta", or buy it???

Very nice, BTW... ;)

Don't know HoeDown...
Just know I wish I had the kind of talent Musky has. And a song named after me too!!!

Chow Mein...
Mi Carta.

MM, I sent you an email about your fine work. That is a great looking knife and I like the red. The scale does have that sticky look to it.
Trax, you dated yourself. What was the album name? Com' on, you know it.

Nope; no idea. The two local radio stations that are on at work play that pretty much on a daily basis...

Along with maggie may, wake up little susie, and anything the Beatles ever recorded... :grumpy:

(It's not my radio) :(

Hi guys, I make my own jeancarta, this set of handles were made from levis. They were blue, the picture makes it look really dark, almost black. But they are actually a dark blue. if you leave it thicker and work it down you get some highlights, like this.

Fascinating idea...I have some polyester resin downstairs; I may try something similar...maybe get some WWII canteen cover or web belt and impregnate that and see how it looks...sort of a poor man's khaki Micarta... :D

Great work...

"Think" I'm gonna ship off my Gold Member 110AG for some Musky filework and Hawaiian Koa scales. Gotta find a 124 user first.

I look at the world and I notice its turning
While my guitar gently weeps
With every mistake we must surely be learning
Still my guitar gently weeps
