Edited. See better pictures 3rd post below

There are still alot of mistakes in this one, but it is a good all around knife that I am keeping. It is also the first knife I have marked!! I was happier about that than the knife itself.
I came up with the logo and sent a sketch to Ernie who did a fantastic job on the stencil. I am from Louisiana originally and cook alot of Crawfish!!
Heat treat was by Stan Buzek, including LN Cryo. Stan also coached me thru cleaning up my mistakes!!
Steel is 1/8th" cpm D2
We shot for 61RC
Handle black canvas micarta with corby's, ss tube and mosaic pin.
Handle 5" in length with the blade 5" to the plunge line.
The knife and sheath are better overall than my last one.
Next one I will taper the front of the handles and finish the blade more. Also, take the edge down further. This one was close to .020.

Looks nice, but I can't tell. Set your camera to Macro(flower) mode and take some more pictures. It's probably the most common issue with pictures, the knife isn't in focus because people don't know about macro for close-ups.

Really like the overall shape/design of the knife.

Thank you. I need to take some more pictures with my camera. These are from my phone!

You do need better pic's cause the knife looks real good in person and took a wicked edge. You done good.

Just as I thought. Very, very nice. However, the mosaic pin seems to be off a couple degrees from even with the two pins. Barely noticeable, but about the only thing I see wrong.

Very impressive.

Thanks Zaph.
I want to say thank you to all who contribute to this forum. I listen and read. There is a wealth of talent and information on this site and I am grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of this community. I can come here and ask questions and not get a "What'chu talking bout" response!:)

Very nice work!

What system did you use to mark the knife. I am looking for a Father's day gift idea.

Thanks
Rob

Nothing wrong with that, love the handle too, looks like it'd be very comfortable to use.

Looks fantastic. Amazing that it's only your 4th knife.

Stencils were made by Ernie and the etcher was Stans "Personalizer". I just ordered my own from Jantz.

Thanks guys. The next knife up is a 7 inch Chefs knife for my wife. It is profiled so far.
