Came home to a package in the mail today. Figured what better way to open up a new Kershaw than with an older Kershaw from the collection.

Sorry that the pictures aren't the best quality. I didn't have time to prepare the photo booth and I sent the makeup artist home already for the day. I don't think the Cryo really needs any makeup anyway. I like her natural beauty. Yes, she is a she.
 
Awesome. Hoping mine shows up tomorrow along with my Dam skyline. Also happy it came in a box and not a clampack.
 
Im loving the black ones....hopefully they will eventually do the cryo 2 in black:-)

I saw that BladeHQ already has an all black Cryo 2 on their site but obviously no picture and not available. Hopefully its in the works.

I saw that as well. I really like the black and was holding off till the 2 came out in black. May have to get a black now just to hold me over.

I have one coming this week. Also have a bead blast finish coming in the same shipment. Have been carrying the matte gray (titanium-carbo-nitride finish) as an edc for about a month and figured I rotate the three of them.

Your black Cryo looks great.
 
I really like the black on these, at least on the one I have and assuming there isn't much variation. I think it is a little more glossy than the coating on the other matte black handled Kershaws I have except for the very glossy polished DLC versions. I'm not a huge fan of the Cryo because it is a bit small for my preferences, but they are great knives and I think the black is my favorite of the 3 finishes.

I really like the way the Kershaw logo pops on the clip in your photo. I guess not everyone may like advertising they have a knife as the clip on these is small enough it could be mistaken for something else. If anyone knows Kershaw, they'd know a knife clip when they see one, and I like that extra little touch like how the older ZT's had ZERO TOLERANCE on the lockbar stabilizer.
 
Now I have to just decide if I should swap the Skyline for the Cryo for my edc. This could end up being a pricy decision. The Cryo is too nice to mess up. May just have to order another one to keep unused.
 
Got my 1555BLK today. Definitely going to EDC this blade for a little while. I can see where the skyline would be a good EDC blade, but the two I have are highly collectible and I just kinda dig the solid feel of the Cryo. Seems like it'll take anything you throw at it.

My main EDC rotation for now will probably be Cryo, OD Zing, and OD Blur. That is until I can get a 0550 in my hands.
 
The black looks amazing! I have the first cryo, and am looking forward to the cryo 2 and that cryo in all black. I'm torn between waiting to get the bigger cryo or this all black one. I can always get both! Lol
