Here is the latest and greatest Kumar Kobra -- 10 inches long. 1 inch wide max. Thickness at bolster is 3/16 and tapers to 1/8 at tip. Fit is perfect. Finish is magic stone mirror. Hardness 59 to 60 Rc and will shave hair off the back of my hand. Handle carved by our Newari neighbor. Please note the HI Habaki super bolster. (James is this suitable for you? How many do you have on order?)

Scabbard by BirGorkha and well done buy not by sarki with no name. Frog is no good. You will have to make your own or find your own way of carry.

The frog is the only thing that is not perfect. Suggestions please. They don't know what to do with frogs for little rigs like this one -- even the sarki with no name was stumped.

Uncle Bill's holiday weekend price is $50 delivered to your door.

One only available.

Call or email if interested.

Uncle my favorite knife was made for me by a local bladesmith and the scabbard by his father. It is precisely what you need for these smaller knives, and if you wish I'll send scnned pcs and even the knife itself. The scabbard is heavy leather that cradles the knife above the bolster, but the best feature is the extra bit of leather sewn into the sharp edge side of the scabbard for the blade to slide against. The way it works is that the blade cuts into the leather, but only so far before it is stopped by side pressure. Saves the stitching, you see.

Let me know; I'd trust you with the whole rig for examination.

Micah 6:8. Well worth the attempt!

Stephen, I know exactly what you are talking about and that may be the answer. I think I can draw one good enough for the sarki with no name to do. If that doesn't work I can make a model out of cardboard and ship it over. Many thanks for suggestion!

Kumar KARDA Uncle. Dropping that other one did get you upset! Better cover that concrete with plywood and then maybe some outdoor carpet.

This one also looks destined for a deep-pouch dangler type Lapplander leuku sheath, as the Scandinavian-Himalayan fusion knife project moves forward!

Bill,
Why couldn't they sew in a hanger arangement like on the one I made, rather than a seperate frog? In truth, I do like the pouch idea much better though.
