I like the stock sheath that comes with the BK13 but I trimmed it a little bit, and I think that it might have been a bit too much. So I decided to make another sheath for it so I can start carrying it around my neck again. I took my time with this one. I soaked it in warm watter for a bit then pressed it over night to have a good crease in it. Then I sewed it up this morning with all the pieces clamped together.

I like this sheath because I can wear it on my neck or my belt.

I know it's not fancy but I think it's real clean looking, and my wife says that my sewing skills are getting better also. :)

Cool. I want to bend a little kydex sheath about that size so I can slide a 13 down in a sheath pouch. To make it more slender, I may just superglue the edge rather than use eyelets.

Go around the cut edges with some sandpaper or something and that's a good looking sheath!

I was just thinking about that. I think I will try to sand down the edges on it. Thanks guys.

Have you ever tried supergluing kydex before? In my experience it doesn't work at all. I think actually one of the design features of Kydex was that it won't really bond with anything. I tried the same thing you want to do (making a BK13 sheath and supergluing the edges) and the glue did absolutely nothing. It just wouldn't stay together.
