I think this is the last time I'm taking on four of a kind. There are subtle differences, but there as close to the same as I could make them. The bone has an aged look, not to my taste, but it's what the customer wanted, along with the brand. The deer heat is the brand of a deer ranch.

Blade steel is CPM 154 and ti liners, carbon fiber bolsters, cow bone handles.

Now it's time to light the forge again and do some pounding and smashing steel to get over working with stainless!

PS, hope the pics come out rite, it's my first time posting pics from a mac.

They look great, and that is a beautiful set. I don't think "exactly identical" is necessary or even that desirable when talking about handmade. Let the mass producers worry about identical. Was the buyer taking care of his family or friends with this bunch? I only work with stainless, so it's funny to hear someone getting over it!

Take care.

I used to work with the guy who put the order in, apparently he's friends with a couple people who have a deer/hunting ranch, and some monster bucks out in TX.

I don't really have anything against stainless, but the forge has been cold too long!

Hey those turned out sweeeeeeet! I will venture to say those four will bring in more customers, just on word of mouth! In otherwords those are going to be great for business x 4!

They look lie great knives to use, but they would look good in someones collection as well. Frank
