Swore Bowies off till I start forging but a customer, friend wanted one for his sons graduation. Needed a large blade with plenty of room to have his grad. class info engraved on it.

Specs:
15" OAL
10" x 2" blade in 154CM
Heat colored S.S. hardware
Ivory micarta handle

As always, critical feedback appreciated.

Thanks for looking,

That is a beautiful Bowie knife.
I personally would prefer a Bowie to have a natural handle material, but that's just me.

If the fit and finish of that knife is truly as nice as it appears in that picture, then you have a "10" there. Really nice!

I think it looks very nice. I especially like the colour you got from heat treating the stainless steel fittings.

That is one smooth looking bowie Lee. I am tempted to contact you again. I have to admit that I like a darker coloured grip though. What does a knife that size weigh?

I recently bought a Chamelion TAC 7 inch blade in S30V from Lee and it is one beautiful knife. I don't think I could have got a knife of this quality for the price I did from anyone else.:)

Thanks for the nice feedback all.
Glenn, I didn't weigh it but it has a full distal taper and feels fairly light and fast in the hand. Can't imagine this doing much more than taking up mantle or shelf space.

Thanks again,
Lee
