This Bowie is for a Friend of mine.
Here are the Spec's
11.5" Blade and 17" overall length,
A CPM 154 Stainless steel blade.Trippled tempered and cyro treated, Rc 60.
It has a file worked 416 Stainless Gaurd, Blood wood and Ivory spacer with a African Black wood handle.
The sheath design credits goes too
kbaknife for his help.
The pics are taken outdoors because it wouldn't fit in my wifes photo box.
The blade with the colors was taken on a sunny day. The others were taken on a bright overcast day. Thanks Wendy:)

Wow that is a beautiful knife!! I have designed one very similar that I am waiting to make myself. I love the way it is simple looking, but so elegant. Hope the one I want to make comes out that well.

I say it again after looking at that knife, it's been a fantastic year on this forum :)

Very nice Dave. Don't often see a stainless steel bowie in the style of traditional bowies. Who does your heat treating? How does the knife cut?
Ray

Thanks for your Comments!!!
Ray Z. This Bowie and Sheath were made entirely in my shop. The heattreat was done by myself with info recieved from Crucible Metal. As for its cutting ability the knife has never been used. I hope the new owner gives some feed back. The other Bowies I have made have been O-1 and 1084, I made this one CPM 154 Just to make this one different.:D
