Just some quick fresh off the work bench pic's of my last project.

Blade; 9 inch 440C, flat ground hand rubbed 1500 grit satin finish with file worked spine
Handle;Sambar Stag, outer layer has been ground off then dyed and polished
Fittings; File worked wrought iron
Over all length; 14 inches
and it's a take down.

This pic is just for fun to show how far it is between a pile of crap to the finished project. This is all the material I used for this project

Holy Smokes, it's amazing. I love the whole thing, but the filework and the way you treated the choil area is just beautiful.

Beautiful work. I did the same type handle a couple of weeks ago with some Axis stag, I really like that look. Try to make the next one in under an hour. HEHEHE

"Few hours later" uh huhhhh ;)

Looks great. Could you post some close ups of the guard filework in the handle area and the leaf carving treatment on the butt? Those are really elegant touches to a wonderful knife.

Elegant, beautiful, functional, really a great job. Love it.
