My most recent variation of my "Brown Boot" model for a customer. This blade only got a few hammer strokes, the stock is only 1/8inch thick ... 95% grinder work. Looks slender but 5inch blade, 10inch OAL. long clip is sharpened in the first 1inch or so. clay backed method, hamon. Black linen guard, brown linen Micarta handles, heavily textured and grooved. Slab-sided in the Bob Kasper style for max control and the grooved spacer really seems to help fine manipulation. Balances on the index finger. Sheath is yet to come.

That brown linen is getting a bit boring - I might do a few more things with the handle. Thanks for the looks. Jason.

Another exceptional fixed blade ! Your hamon's are fantastic !

Keith, I just looked at the fibremascus.com site and I am SOLD !! The stuff Gary Riner is showing there just blows me away. "Boring" just went out the window ! Doesn't look like any currently available but I'll email Gary to be sure. I personally think its one of the best ideas in handle material I've seen since stabilised woods. Jason.
