Hey everyone, thought id share a few pics from my last canoe trip/camping trip.

It was myself and another forum member here brad. We went to a lake just east of killarney Ontario. We canoed in and stayed at one spot for 3 nights. Rained off an on put we did manage to get some sun. Brad brought alone his new MSR Mutha hubba tent. Fantastic tent, light weight, roomy and kept us and our gear dry! Plus my new mountain hardwear drystein II coat got a good work out.

Successful trip, we practices a lot of bushcraft skills. Made primitive traps and hunting tools. Fires were only made with ferro rods with sparks and natural tinders. Taught brad a few knots good for around camp ( blowline, clove hitch, sheet bend and blakes hitch). Made lots of fuzz sticks. And of course we did some fishing, caught some bass and even a nice pike.

Enjoy the pics

Thanks for the pictures of your trip Matthew! It is always good to see an old Coleman workhorse out doing what it was meant to do. Back in the day, I fondly referred to mine as the "UPS Truck". There was nothing refined about it but it was hell for stout.

Great job! That tent does look very roomy. I used to canoe up that way in the Algonquin Forest/lakes area. Beautiful country!

yep a friend had a Coleman canoe, heavy but you never worried about it coming apart over a rapids
wish he still had it. so does he

real nice images of the camp, especially the old timey looking ones

Thanks guys! In the works of planning my next canoe trip in a few weekends. Ill be sure to post pictures of it too!

It was a great site, except for all the dumped glass and mattress springs right behind the site :(
Other people suck sometimes lol.

I was glad to have it. A table at a camp site always good a thing. Much easier then working off a rock or the ground.

The table is a great idea and worth the time to construct if you are going to hang for a couple days. The tent looks great!
