I was recently hired to make a knife for a lawyer who is giving this knife to his son in August. Given the fact that this guy is a lawyer, I knew i had to make this look as good as i possibly could. i gave him many choices and here is what he and i put together (i made the knife, he provided specifications). It has a Bloodwood handle just like my last knife but rather than stainless steel pins and lanyard tubes, i used brass. Although i believed this wouldn't look as good as Stainless steel, i think it came out very well. It has a high flat grind with a convex'd secondary bevel done by me on the water stones. Of course, i can not take all of the credit for the knife. Ryan Keller, known as wolf5391 here on Blade Forums, helped me with the primary bevel for which i am very grateful! He also heat treated the blade for me and is going to make the Kydex sheath for it per the costumers request. These things are things i do not have the expertise in and i am learning from him. Besides that, the handle is sanded to 800 grit and soaked in Danish Oil over night to protect it and make it look all nice. Tell me what you think! i love advise from experts. Any advise helps me out a lot!
I am adding a lot of pictures because i have a really cheap camera and each picture should hopefully help you see the knife better in a certain area. i did my best to get some good pictures but hey, not everything works out according to plan
