Latest delivery from the Custom Shop

Whew, Dave, I'm never going to be able to keep pace with you!! Are you going to use this one at all? I'm curious about Damascus from a user standpoint. Great knife, BTW.

I am glad you like it, too. This is only the second knife I have ordered from the factory... you probably have more than just two?

Use it? Excuse me, Use This Knife??? I just use it to look at... and every once in a while I pick one up to pet it, then put it right back in the display case.

I have a really nice old 2dot that Joe Houser helped me get renewed, and the false edge sharpened for opening boxes and packages at the office. I use that one daily, but would NEVER use the customs.
I am going to buy two of the 532s from Dennis Wright when they are available; One for the case and one for a daily carry.

This isn't about keeping up anyway... just sharing! My wife isn't very responsive when I try to show here 'another Buck knife'... On a good day she says "I give up... what is different about this one?"

It is nice to have a place to share with other folks with the Buck Knife Bug

I ordered a damascus 110 from Pete`s that I intend on using. I had asked about how the damascus would hold up to regular usage and from what I hear, it will be a fine user, but not an abuser. I`m still waiting for mine to show up.

Also....is there any truth to the rumor that the 532 will be the next Custom Shoppe offering? Or will I have to order one of the BG-42 532`s from the Y2K catalog?

Windancer-I was on usedknives.com and was very impressed with your collection of 110`s. If it wasn`t for Pete`s, I`d most likely be buying my 110`s from you!

I don't have all of them on my site. I have about a dozen that are 'keepers', and a few others that I just don't want to sell yet.

Well, I was kinda being a little bit "tongue in cheek", but it's really just me being jealous, as I can't get another just now.

I know about the "what's different" point of view though, believe me. One of these days, I'll have one of those damascus blades though. I've been offered a new position at my company and it'll mean a bit more $, so maybe things will turn the corner sooner than I'd hoped !!
