I do not want to get into a CS bashing here, I just want to know your experience lately. Before I buy more CS Products I just want to know if there is a problem I will get it solved in a timely manner. Their sharpening service is no longer I take it?

Since the acquisition by GSM Outdoors, the vast, overwhelming majority of comments I've seen are very negative. No one answers the phone, no one answers emails, people waiting for months for repair service, no communication. I personally sent two different emails this year, have yet to receive a response back from them. Also heard a few reports of people making contact with Cold Steel, only to get a representative who's totally clueless.

They do seem be right on schedule when it comes to releasing new Youtube videos though, along with pimping out some young lady for the sake of a few extra clicks.

I truly try my very best to remain positive about the ownership exchange, and will continue to do so, despite my inner gut telling me "This isn't good".

EDIT: According to their website, they still offer sharpening service, for $10, which I believe used to be $5. No surprise there in the price increase, considering they are asking over $750 for a Kukri :)

Thanks I missed that part about the sharpening. I had quite few sharpened at the old CS, really nice job every time. Have to send in a junker a few times before I trust them with Vintage Pieces I think, maybe just paranoid.
