Hey Gary, that is a hell of a fighter mate. Really nice damascus. Edge quenched yeah? Killer Snake wood. Love the coining on the spacer. What are the specs?

The specs are 8" & 13". The blade isn't edge quenched. What you are probably seeing is that the bottom half (Damascus) is differing thicknesses of 1084 & 15n20 and the top half (spine) is 1018 which etched differently.

Thanks for the kind words. This Damascus was an experiment to see if I could get the look of ocean waves in the steel. [I posted one from the other half of the billet a while back.]
