Seems like either a German or Swiss made pocket knife. It has what may be a military olive drab green color for it's synthetic handle scale material. The blade looks only factory sharpened, and does look like it's maybe an unused knife.
Any input you guys can share with me will be much appreciated :)

The pic also shows the other find I got... A miniature magnifying glass that may be made of sterling silver. It is marked 'Baird North Co. Providence RI' on one side, and 'Diamond Merchants' on the other.

I don't think I got hurt on either one, the knife was $16, and the magnifying glass was $1.
I love my little flea market expeditions! :)

Now my homework into these two items begins ;)

German army (Bundeswehr) knife. I believe they are made in Switzerland by Victorinox. I see you have the part that covers the teeth on the saw as well. That part often gets lots or people throw it away. Nice finds, the magnifying glass too!

As a side note, the Swiss also started making the Dutch army knife sometime in the second half of the previous century, after the Dutch maker's quallity got worse. Those have metal covers and usually the last two digits of the year of manufacture on them. No idea if the knives for the Bundeswehr have the year marked, probably not.

Thanks!
The magnifying glass was an easy throw in to my collection. It being so small, it was easy finding a spot for her :)

I'm still trying to figure out who made the knife. Other than the CCM stamp, I have no idea. I've tried google for finding out what that CCM stands for, (was thinking the manufacturer), but to no avail.
I will have to keep on digging ;)

Yeah, the CCM tang stamp seems to indeed be the maker's mark, but as for info on who that maker is, it's still a mystery to me. It seems, based on my google searches, that the CCM factory stamp is leaving others stumped as well. While the mentioning of CCM made knives is pretty commonly found on the internet, not one source, (thus far), has exposed what company actually made them. Since the "GAK", (German Army Knife), were contracted out to be made by German AND other European countries, this CCM knife could be German made, but could also have been made elsewhere in Europe.
I simply have no clue yet on what company the CCM tang stamp represents.

I was wiping down and getting to know this knife today... But, my searching online never did uncover what company the CCM tang stamp stands for.
If someone runs across this post and knows what firm CCM is/was, I'd greatly appreciate your input... And, many thanks in advance! :)
