Just finished this slip joint. 4" closed. Old mammoth bark, that looks old.:)

Thanks for taking a look!

Those slabs are some of the best-matched I've seen--a classic indeed.

Love the blade shape.

Don,

Absolutely beautiful. Don't know that I've seen better Mammoth on a folder, or a neater slippie, for that matter.

Lovely. That bark is so delightful! Promise me you won't let anyone convince you to grind off that bark to see what's beneath it!

Such a classic and rich folder.
Love both the mammoth and that blade shape.:thumbup::thumbup:

that is one DAMN fine knife!

Looks great, and really does beg to be used. And saves you the chore of jigging for an effect that couldn't surpass the real thing anyhow. Classy.

Haha, I'm the guy you are referring to! I didn't buy the knife. No need to worry!

Oh, I know.

I still "cry my self to sleep on my huge pilla" just thinking about that lovely bark! I was in the "don't do it" camp. I did think the new clip looked great though!

Just busting your chops.

This one almost made it to my pocket (I sold my DH3 EDC and need another), but it is staying in the Ozarks.

I appreciate all the good words, guys.

You are a master of many things Don, sleek design and gorgeous use of materials being showcased particularly here. I think your knives, of anyone's, might make me have to try slipjoints myself at some point.

Learning how to do that didn't happen over night.
