Hi folks,
Here's one hot off the bench; Clack Tac Jr, 4" damascus blade, 8.75" oal, nice mammoth bark, gold stud, mosaic bolsters.
Let me know what ya think.
Thanks for looking...

I'm wavering between mouth-watering and awesome. Guess I'll have to go with both. What a gorgeous piece of artwork: Congratulations!

Your scary damascus is just mind-bending, not to mention how nice the rest of the piece is made. Wonderful and as unique as the Loch Ness Monster!

is this a new pattern for you?

Thats greatness that folds. Everytime you post one I wish I owned it. I may have to carry one someday.

Another classic DH3 beauty:thumbup:

great proportions, great steel and of course........fantastic mammoth

Bet it opens SLICK

I always enjoy seeing your folders....incredible.

Quick question...? I'm assuming your back spacer is the "stop" for the blade in the open position? If that's so, I'm curious about the closed position. Is it similar to the "kick" behind the blade edge on a more traditional slip joint? Does it run into that back spacer on the under side? Hope that makes some amount of sense...

Ya'll noticed I indexed the screws? :D

I totally noticed! Nice job, man, those torx stand out like a sore thumb when they ain't indexed ;)
Seriously though, I LOVE this pattern. Rear grip is super cool and the steamlined profile is super nice. Materials-wise, as always, gorgeous combo!

The back spacer is the blade stop, both open and closed. When closed the blade hits the stop behind the edge. It a reverse of the kick on a slipjoint, as the kick is on the back spacer, not the blade. This one also has a dropped edge so the closed stop position is a little tricky, but it works very well.
Thanks!
