This is another CRUX folder. Wasn't able to hang on to the first one so I finished this one for myself.

Specs are:
8 1/2" OAL
4 3/4" closed
3 3/4" S30V blade, double hollow ground with a slight tanto profile
Ti bolsters, frame & pocket clip anodized bronze
CF scales
heat colored screws

As always, critical feedback appreciated.

Thanks for looking,

Looks real classy to me. I especially love the bronze bolster.

Two thumbs up!! Way up. :)

Most excellent ! :)

I like everything about it. . . .except. . . .

It's not restin' in my hand. :D

That's a great looking folder.Just the right size with a touch of class.

wow, that bolster really makes it. I agree that the only thing wrong with it:

not lying in my hand!

Sweet. Great looking job. Ever thought of filework on the top of the blade to give it an 'exotic' look?

Thanks all for the replies.
NEETONES: CRUX is simply a line/ family of knives I make, by definiton the word means- a main or central feature (usually pertaining to an argument or debate). This particular look is kinda the core of my offerings, hince the name CRUX. I also have the CRUX ORION (hunter), CRUX BANTAM (utility tac), CRUX MAIDEN (full size tac), and CRUX INSTINCT BOWIE (tactical bowie), as well as others to be added later. Soon as I can get a group pic done I'll get it posted. Hope this helps.
HATEMAN: If I could do filework as nice as TXWOODCHIP I'd consider adding a little here and there.

Thanks again,
Lee

Outstanding. Your folder has a really nice look. There aren't a whole lot of CF handled bolstered folders that get my attention these days (overload), but yours has a great blade shape and the color of the bolsters really makes it a nice package. Nice handle shape too.

Neetones, buy an old Frank Zappa album called "Apostrophe" and listen to the title song. That'll explain what Crux means. :D
Fantastic folder Lee!
That's the sharpest, cleanest looking folder I've seen in along time and as most everyone else has said, the bronze look is really fine!
I like the way you domed the bolsters and scales too.
Very nice package overall!

Everything on this knife looks so well thought out. I really like the blade shape, the bolster / guard, the thumber / lock ramp, the material combination, well I like everything about it. Great job, Dave

The title song is intstrumental. You're thinking of "Stinkfoot".
