Finally got this one done. It's what's keept me from working on the one in the WIP/tutorial thread I've got going. I did get more work done on it, and will post pics tomorrow, it's bed time now.

Anyway, forged 3 1/2" 52100 blade, carbon fiber handles. Overall length opened is 8 1/8", closed is 4 5/8".

Glad to get this one done so I can play with fire again!

What a challenge. Looks very slick that for sure:thumbup:

Really nice looking :) Interesting that it's forged too.. I've been reluctant to try folders because most people seem to say you need to-the-micron precision, basically. By most people I mean various instructional DVDs I've watched.. Do you do anything special to keep close tolerances?

Thanks. The great thing about the liner lock is that there are only a couple area's that really need extreme precision. The more precise the better, but it gives you some room for error and really is a strong simple lock. I've got a surface grinder and mill and stuff, but I did the first couple with nothing more than common tools, drill press and belt grinder. I've got a tutorial/WIP going on and you can see the basic steps there. And Ray Rogers has a great tutorial on his website.
