Heres my latest. This was influenced by Joe Keesler's brut forge model. I saw his demo at the Moran hammer in and have been playing around with forged gaurds ever since. He usually leaves the top half rough, but I wanted to see what it would look like finished.
Forged 5160, flat gorund, 4" blade, 8" OAL, the bolsters are nickel silver and the handle is curly walnut with NS pins.
 
Nice piece,love the tiger walnut. Do you have any you would like to part with?
 
Thanks guys. I hope to be doing some more of these. I actually did a camp knife version of this a while back that I'm not sure if I ever posted it. If I can find a pic, I'll put that one up too.

Ray, Sorry but all i've got of that walnut is a little piece Dan Farr gave me a couple years ago. I would like to get more of it as well. Its my current favorite.
