that is a very interesting knife. My guess is 1095.
 
Good to see another Lamey north of the boarder! The Cocobolo is really nice. Congrats!

hi Dave, steel on that one is 1095, handle is Coca Bola, from some of the first wood I ever purchased, from the late Ken Rayburn.

Be sure and let me know how it cuts.

It's a real winner for me on the cutting front.

It really smoked some hanging rope before and after being worked hard on some semi-petrified 2x4.

The feel is great! Very comfortable and nice balance (pob where the ricasso meets the primary bevels).
