This is the first knife that I have been able to finish since I started working fulltime again. People ask me how I like work and I say that it is cutting in on my knifemaking time!

Blade is 3in long made of Don Hanson III herringbone/ladder pattern damascus. Double flat ground clip point but single edged. Bolsters are Jerry Rados rosebud pattern damascus and the scales are elephant ivory. The bolster screws have also been hidden for a cleaner look. Fully fileworked backbar, liners, screws, ann thumbstud. The thumbstud is 14K gold with inlaid facated 2.5mm garnet. Overall length is 6-7/8.
Thanks for looking,
Chuck

Not what usually floats my boat, but I really like this one! Everything really flows in this one... nice choice of damascus and ivory. The garnet thumbstud really catches my eye too. Nice work!

Very nice, but how does Don come by the name "Herringbone/Ladder for that pattern. I don't really see either of those patterns in that damascus.
