This was an exercise in fit and finish. I just wanted to make a compact hunter - sort of small game / bird and trout etc. Nothing fancy, just clean and straight.

The specs - 3-3/4inch blade, O1 carbon steel, flat ground, tapered tang, blue G10 handles, polished. 416SS pins. Whaddya think ? Cheers. Jason.

What a perfect bird/trout knife!

Would look gorgeous in popcorn stag (hint hint). ;)

A very nice, functional looking knife. I like tapered tangs.

That knife does not look threatening at all, which really appeals to me.

I like it. Haven't seen one you've pictured that I haven't liked, though, so I'm probably not too reliable. Very inspirational. Must...start...grinding more....instead of...spending quality...time with....wife...

Is that the Smurf blue G-10 or the blue/black layered stuff? And, does the picture accurately show the color? That Smurf blue stuff is too ugly for me, but it looks more like navy blue in your picture. That's the way to go.
