Dear Valued PhotoCenter Member,

During the transition to bring the Epson PhotoCenter site in-house, we
experienced some unexpected system difficulties. One result of the system
problems was that some inappropriate content was being posted, which we are
addressing. Another result of the system problems is that your account was
deleted.
(ed.) We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience these problems may
have caused. The site has resumed full service, and we would like to
invite you back to the Epson PhotoCenter at http://photo.epson.com where
you can start uploading, sharing, and printing your photos again.

Again, our apologies and thank you for your patience and understanding.

Between the lines, sounds like censorship to me.

They say some inappropriate material was deleted. That could be Politically Correct talk for knives being weapons and hence in the same league as child pornographers.

And then they accidentally lose your account. That way if the "if it saves one child" folks come around, "Why gee, we can't remember any deadly weapons - see?".

Somebody else in the forum got the same mail and deleted account but I can't remember who. They posted the same message.

"Accidently deleted your account" bull. It sounds suspiciously like what Rusty referred to... censorship. If they didn't want that "inappropriate" material on their site, they could have just returned it...

Sorry Uncle... a lot of work gone in a digital moment. It's a shame.

Alan

Whether it was deliberate, or incompetance, they ruined alot of work for alot of people. I lost close to fifty pics. Thirty four of which were a knifemaking tutorial. I just found them al on my hardrive, but I don't know which service i'm going to trust with them.
