HI folks, I thought i'd share the latest one done from me.
Some of you may have already seen it on my facebook page. (Thanks for the likes and comments!)
Its 1095
416 guard and buttcap
silicon bronze spacer (antiqued)
and of course stag

This one holds a few firsts for me (textured buttcap, guard w/ collar)
Let me know what you think and thanks for looking.

What a beauty Shawn!

I like everything about it! As I expect from you, it's clean as a whistle.... So well put together!

Thanks for sharing Shawn. :)

CLEAN is an understatement for that Shawn! I also like everything about it and Coop did his usual magic with the pictures.

Thanks Guys! I really appreciate it. I learned quite a bit making this one... like, if im going to use brass black to atique the bronze, dunk it. I wiped it on with a swab and it got a little splotchy. Also, don't cut the stag to where I THINK I want it....I cut a bit too much off the front before I got my collar done and I had to take off a bit more texture from the stag than I wanted.. Oh well , live and learn...

And yes I think Jim did a great job with the images.

I like everything about that blade. Clean and mean, great stag, really nice hamon, fit and finish wow!
Cheers Keith

That is one clean knife. There is so much there that I like but the overall package is remarkable. That shape of collar is still a mystery to me. I'm always hesitant to try it because I don't know if I could pull it off like you do. Excellent work!
