Just sold this one and have been foaming at the mouth to post the pics here, in case you didn't see it in any of the other forums. I was really bummed out by the all damascus Integral I scraped out, but finishing this one so easily (D/A and all ) really got me out of the funk of ruining one.
Knifemaking sure has a lot of ups and downs, for me anyway. There's so many different things being done it's hard for a new maker to get leveled out, but the sucesses' make up for the disappointments
that go with not knowing what the heck you're doing sometimes. Anyway, this forum gets more looks than the others and I wanna show this piece off. It's great to be suprised sometimes, with the little things in a knife, that smoothness of the action, the crisp snap of the lock and button engagement, the particular feel and sense of the knife and of course when that blade comes flying out with authority. If that makes any sense, well that's what gets my panties wet. LarryD
Now without further adieu...here's the pics.

A beautiful knife! The lines are great and I love the damascus and mammoth ivory. You did an exceptional job, you should be very proud of that knife.

Larry,

How can you get in a funk when you can turn out beauties like that one???:D :D

I am quite pleased with it also. :D My first custom folder. Mentioned to Larry that this piece of art needs a name and he agrees. Any suggestions?

A NAME for that knife??? Not an easy task for us mere mortals....

(Do we win it if our name is picked???:D :D :D )

How about:

U Lucky guy
1 Nice Knife
Electric Elephant
Majestic Mastodon

(Do we win it if our name is picked??? )

Uh,uh..but I could let you fondle it for a while, though think Larry Chew had first dibs on that.

Other suggestions to date:
"The Sun, Earth and Moon" for the thumbstud, pivot and pushbutton.
"DDG" for drop,dead, gorgeous
"Reaper"

Please don't think I am trolling for compliments, I'm not, the knife and maker speaks for itself, but since this is my first custom folder would like to give it a name

Larry,

That piece is outstanding. I really like how well the damascus and mastadon (I assume that's bark mastadon) go together. Man, I wish there was more I could say, but it's just simply awesome.
