The new "Venom Green", with black blade. (also available in plain satin)

I just got a black handle satin plane edge one. im trying to figure out how to texture the zytel to make it more grippy. the venom green looks awesome
 
As good as the black blade looks on it, I'd opt for the satin if its a user. The black seems like its painted on, maybe nice for the collection.
 
Nah, as it wear off it give them character! (You are right though, it seems to be painted on)
 
i have the orange w/ black blade KW exclusive Rat1 and i love it. i have the venom green w/ satin blade on the way!

knifeworks is such a great company to deal with!

Have you seen how it looks worn off? Google or youtube some for reference. No thanks! Its great for the pricepoint though. I can appreciate a DLC coated blade and how it looks with use. Either way, its a great knife and you'll enjoy it. I just prefer satin anyway.
 
I have, one of my favorite youtube vids is the one that was in Afghanistan and is worn to pieces. :)
 
Wow, so far my venom green RAT 1 has only been used to cut open one box, and otherwise has just been in and out of my pocket and the blade blade coating is already coming off along the blade spine.

Love the knives, but man, that is a lame coating! :)
 
How ya doing Bear Claw.:) Yes, as good as the knife is, the coating is indeed lame. Considering the popularity of the knife, I have wondered why they don't improve on it.
