Hello everybody, long time no seeing.
I have finally managed to make another knife, as usual with scrimshaw from Viveca Sahlin.
Handle is mammoth ivory and the blade is Mattias Styrefors damascus.
I do hope that you like it.

I'm glad that you like it. Do really need some cheering up because I have had a hold up from knifemaking for about 2 years. This makes you a little bit uncertain about the knives and models etc. I have recently started to draw some new models that I hope will be good. Will post them when finished , if it's OK??
 
Nice piece! I don't believe I've seen Viveca's scrim before.., but that is a cool Dragon.. :)

The way you shaped the handle is amazing!
I thought it was a whale's tooth when I first saw it.
The ivory and damascus really set each other off nicely!
What a grand touch the scrimshanding adds!
And the little red spacer between the guard/bolster and the handle is just the right color!
