Here's a crummy cellphone pic of my latest skinner. This one is for my father in law. The blade is from a sawmill blade, and the mahogany comes from stock that my uncle sawed up 20 or so years ago. I tried to something different with the blade and vinegar etched it. The temper line came in very subtle and the hardened area looks kinda hazy. I hand rubbed the blade to 1500 wet. I think it turned out pretty neat! What does everyone else think?

It would probably help if I posted the pic huh? I hope to take some better pics later this weekend. Hopefully it will show off the flash and shine of the handle scales. They really are something else!! Thanks to Nick Wheeler for all the help with the vinegar etch questions
