Hi, I found Latvian magazine PATRON, look title page :),good!
Dr.Denis Cerevicnik and his new SS Police...

it seems to me that the journal is in Russian!

I never learned Russian, but know a little bit. The guy Denis Cherevichnik (with a Spyderco? knife) says:

'I ja rezal, i menja rezali'

which sounds very similar to something in North-Croatian dialect:

'I ja sam rezal, i mene su rezali',

in translation:

"And I was cutting (them), and (they)were cutting me."

Franco, nice translation, precisely what I got. Slavic languages have so much in common it's really funny sometimes... :)

What kills me is that 3 out of 5 topics on that cover have an English word spelled with Cyrillic letters, even though there are perfectly valid Russian words for it... :)
 
He seems to be someone who performs MBC, as far as I can tell from his website.
Whatever he does, he has a good taste for knives ;)

Yes, the text is Russian(I am not Russian, but I am fluent in...). Translation is correct basically, I cut and I was cut. The guy picture is the knife fighting instructor if you followed the link he's pix are there.

Huh? Which title are you referring to? I can't find an english word that's speeled with Cirylic, except the word Hammer, which is obviously non translatable because it's a brand name... Same goes for Africa :) That's how you call/spell Africa in russian anyways, no other word for it.
 
Weeeel, there's bucks, conquista (which is actually Spanish, which I also speak, but honestly don't know why I thought it was Russian), hammer and one sentense has the right words but just doesn't feel correct in terms of syntax. But maybe I'm picky. To be honest I can't use any of the languages I know correctly... :)

It's a nice pic of the Police, but a little too sinister. There's a not-so-settle suggestion in it: "ooooh, pointy!" :)
 
I think you're too picky. Maza konkista is a name of something that belonged or was done by Lord Ekaba. No idea about the spelling of all that in english, but those are not translatable, just like hammer, yes there is a russian word for it, but again, since it's about the car... The rest of the sentences or titles are ok. It's more or less serious mag, they wouldn't do that ;) After all competitor(s) would use it.
