Here is a little bowie that I finished up last week. The blade is 6 1/4" of 1084 and 15N20 in my Lava Flow pattern. The Lava Flow is a mosiac pattern that I have been playing with for a little while. My boy who is four named the pattern, he is into the movie Shark Boy and Lava Girl so everything currently relates back to this. The handle is contoured african blackwood while the fittings are blued mild steeel and nickel silver. Overall length on this knife is 11 3/8".

Here is a close up of the damascus pattern where you can see the "lava" rivers flowing down from the back of the blade. I hope you enjoy the pic.

Another beaut!

Hey, I called Danbo the other day - I'll be driving cross country again and will probably sail thru the St. Louis area... up for a visitor???

Don't know for sure, nor do I know the route or timing yet, but I leave next weekend to get to N Carolina by Wednesday, and will swing back starting maybe Sunday or Monday following... So I might be able to swing up your way if I can...

Either way, keep up the hammerin'! You're just getting better all the time!

Thanks guys.

Joeshredd, A visit would be great. Let me know the timing and we can get it set up.

Very nice combination of materials. Love the lines and the flow of shapes, especially on the handle and the contrast of the pins and the fileworked spacer are an excellent touch. Its one of the nicest small Bowies I've seen. Jason.
