So apparently bali's aren't illegal in MA unless you count them as a switchblade. Didn't know about the others.. I owned a blowgun and a slingshot as a kid.

It would not stand up in court if they tried to call it a switchblade. The Federal Court System in Taylor vs US, has already determined that a Bali or Butterfly knife is not a switchblade. But that all knives need to be judged on their own individual merit to determine if they are legal or not.
