Lawman fake?

I recently bought two Lawman's from my local CS dealer.
They were having a "Brand Clearance sale".
(I could buy one CS product, then get any other CS product to the same value for half price.)
When I got home and had a good look at them, one is not like the other.
The left one has:-
Different blade markings(left is smaller and has "TM",right has "R" in circle)
The right hand side of left knife has "CTS XHP",the other is S35VN
The texture of the G-10 is finer on the left one as well
Boxes look identical except for model numbers and blade steel.
I've looked at CS website,it says S35VN,no mention of CTS XHP.I have no idea what that is.
My questions to those more knowledgeable than I,Is the one on the left a fake?
Any and all help much appreciated

Looks like you scored here if these were bought from an authorized dealer. Cold Steel used CTS-XHP for a while before going to S35VN. The XHP models are sought after I believe.

Their G10 has changed a bit over the years, too. You should be good to go on these two.

Yes they should be fine if new from a dealer. As said above they did use both steels and the S35 one is the newer version.

Both look genuine to me and a great deal .

Some prefer the older version XHP steel and it
Thankyou all for your replies,outstanding!
Was kinda worried it wasnt legit.
I think I will put the CTS one away,for now,the other is a user:thumbsup:

is more collectable being discontinued now .

From you pics, Z everything looks correct and kosher. Proper packaging, and blade-markings. The CTS-version is now hard to come by. Good score!

The cts xhp is preferred by many and almost impossible to find new at a retailer. Better edge retention.
Too bad both weren't in that steel.

Thanks DocJD,Zephyr OneZero and whp.
I went back to see if they have any more of anything in CTS-XHP,sadly no.
No matter though, more than happy with what I got.
I did get an SRK in Aus8 mint in box though!
Has a matt finish blade(Tuffex?),so later version than my other (older) one with smooth coating(Teflon)
They seemed to have a bit of old stock still on hand.
