I was told by a well known dealer and even by CS customer relations directly that the American Lawman was discontinued and wasn’t coming back. I was very disappointed.

I see that the CS site as well as several online dealers have an S35 version shown as coming soon!

I sold my brown one last year so that made my day.

They may have meant the CTS-XHP version was discontinued. As a matter of fact CS wasn't going to use CTS-XHP on any of their knives and was moving to s35vn instead.

No I explicitly asked the CS rep that and she’s said it was not being made in S35...I was told by a dealer (correctly) that they didn’t know for sure but had not heard of an S35 version.

Either way, I’m glad.

The American Lawman is to the Triad line, as the Paramilitary is to Spyderco. I’d be shocked to see it dropped.

A quick email to customer service revealed that Cold Steel will have S35VN Lawmans (Lawmen?) in stock around late August.
