So I know the general laws for carrying a knife in public in Connecticut, the state I live in, however am confused about inside a vehicle if these laws still apply. I have a fixed blade that is around 5 inches blade length, which is above the 4 inch maximum for carrying in Connecticut (open or concealed). So can I have this in my car? will it make for a problem if ever pulled over with it either sitting in the cup holder inside is leather sheath or strapped to by belt? Here are some of the laws for Connecticut: http://www.knifeup.com/connecticut-knife-law/
Thanks!

According to Knife Rights, as long as it's a <4" non-assisted opener, you are fine on possession, open carry, and concealed carry. Why that wouldn't apply to the inside of a vehicle also. It should.
I'm just telling you what I saw on Knife Rights.
Here in California, inside a vehicle is fine as long as you are carrying a legal knife.
