Laws regarding knife posession.

Is there a good list anywhere of what the laws are regarding what size/types of knives are legal to posess in various places. Of particular interest to me are Massachusetts laws, but a complete list would be very helpful. The worst way to end up in jail is through ignorance.

The <a href="http://www.akti.org" target="_new">American Knife and Tool Institute</a> is working on such a list, but don't have Massachusetts finished yet. You can, however, find Massachusetts' laws at <a href="http://www.magnet.state.ma.us/legis/legis.htm" target="_new">The General Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts</a> site.

Whoops; forgot to post the relevant sections the first time. You'll want to look at chapter 269, sections 10 and 12.
