lazer cut or stamped

can you tell the difference if your blade is lazer cut or stamped??

The only way I know to tell laser cut is small heat discoloration, at say the hole in a spydie.

I don't think you could tell water jet cut.

Stamped are inexpensive knives like SAK and Such with 420 & 420HC steel.
