Lazy micarta cleaning

Yes I take my Micarta apart and wash it out in hot water and soap, blow it out with compressed air, that's great. Again, sometimes I get lazy, so out comes the bottle alcohol and a q tip, scrub it quickly, and pow, it's beautiful canvas shows up.

Those little alcohol hand wipe towelettes do a great job too, like you get at a Wing's restaurant.

Another trick is to spray the Micarta slabs with Windex and just let it dry - no rubbing.

That can lift out the oils and dirt and make it look like new.

I use a q tip and firearm degreaser.
