in casting around found this knife for sale. have never heard of a LB 1 but here it is on the bolster. is this real or another taylor?

Real, not the same as the later tiny lockback circa 1983 with the same name. Yes, Liberty Bell commemorative.

I guess I should have posted these photos too. I sold my 'patriot set' of 3 knives about 4 or 5 years ago. The Liberty Bell, Paul Revere and the Minute Man.

I had a LB1 that I kept on my key chain so long that it wore thru the bail. I sent it back to Schrade, they replaced the bail, cleaned and sharpened the blade and polished the wood scales. I started to travel a lot by air so it went into my drawer, as I did not want to forget it, and lose it to TSA. John
