does anyone know if Schrade in the last of days changed the way they stamped the LB 7's? saw one on the bay and the LB 7 USA was on the reverse side of the blade from the UNCLE HENRY. all of mine which go from numbered serial numbers to blank all have the stamping on the same side.

I can't answer as to why/when, but have seen it myself. I have one LB7 that has the "Uncle Henry" and "Schrade USA" on the front of the blade, and just "LB7" on the back. Just another of the little quirks Schrade was known for, I suppose.

I have one also and the Uncle Henry was tang stamped far too low on an otherwise perfect knife so someone in Schrade obviously made an executive decision to simply put LB7 on the reverse.....do the other examples have a very low Uncle Henry Stamping in relation to your ""normal"" knives?....Hoo Roo
