pics. below are of an older used LB7 which i bought from a very nice ebay seller. he got the knife "some years ago" from a collector in Arizona. it is a 3 pin, no serial #s, with black handles and "silver" bolsters. on the front face of the forward bolster is: 0032. could this be a salesman's sample ? rare prototype ? or ??? what else do #s in this position signify with a Schrade knife ? this is LB7 #8 for me. i think they are v. good knives, yet they are rare in Canada. thanks roland

If it had an all zeros number it could be classed as a prototype as the zeros were used on pre-production models and were not put into production unless they passed approval.
The 32 numbers look badly formed, not sure why?
Regards Tim

I agree.....that 0032 just doesn't look right to me. And as my friend Forrest used to say, "That's all I got to say about that.";)
