LB7 Question?

I have an LB7 with numbers,letters,etc. on bolster.
Can anyone tell me what they are there for?

Those are simply the serial number for the individual knife. They started out with numerals, then later went to alpha numeric serial numbers.
We have an entire thread pertaining to dating an LB7 via its serial number here somewhere. Hopefully someone has a link to that thread handy.

i'd never thought they would serialize on the bolster...first one i've seen with this number,so thought it was rare.....you know how that is?...i think i got the
only one ever made....jkn...
anyway,thought it was gonna be more exciting than that....so i guess it has to be newer than 73 or 74 then,correct?

SCHRADE+ means it is a stainless steel blade.
I'm thinking all the old timer collectors here already knew this, which is a good reason to bring it up for the younger collectors among us.
Otherwise we would just assume everybody already knew that. ;)
