LB7 Question

Hey guys, just have a question about a LB7 I picked
up at a gun/knife show this weekend. This knife has
no markings other than the tang stamp and I'd like
to find out what year it was made. The bolsters
are nickel silver and has a gut hook blade. I hope
the pics come thru okay. Searched for some info
but came up empty. Thanks for any help you fellas
can offer....Joe

Your knife is an LB9, droppoint guthook version of the LB7. These were made in limited quantities, usually for limited edition special factory orders. All that I have seen bear the SCHRADE+/USA LTD stamp. At some point, these blades were changed to include a mark at customer's request. I think it was for fear of injury due to opening the knives by gripping the guthook.

Thanks for the info Codger, this one really caught my eye because of the guthook and flat ground blade. The nickel silver bolsters are a plus as well.
This one is just begging for some sambar stag.
