Hey Guys, I Recently Found My Lb7 That I Thought I Lost. I Have Two Questions. First I No Longer Have The Sheath And Would Like To Know How To Go About Finding One. And Also, I Believe Schrade Made Another Knife Similar To The Lb7, Maybe An Old Timer With A Plastic Handle Same Mold Basically As The Lb7. Does Anybody Know What Knife It Is? I Think I'd Like To Get One. I Dont Own A Computer, I Just Check The Site At Work So I'll Look A Little Later To See If Anyone Has Any Ideas, Thanks.

The 7OT Cave Bear is a very similar knife in the Old Timer line.Check Ebay for both.Arnold

Thanks For The Pics. I Recognized It Right Away. I Figured You Schrade Guys Would Have The Answer! Thanks Again.

You see just the sheaths for sale quite frequently on ebay. I recently saw one of them there that may still be up. For that matter Taylor cutlery is making that same knife basically only I'm sure its not the same quality and probably from China. The point is they probably have a sheath that will work and maybe even say Schrade on it.

Just an opinion, but why buy another sheath and a 7OT? When you buy your 7OT, it will come with an original USA leather Schrade sheath right? The 7OT should go for about $20 - $30 (if you want a new user, get one packaged in the plastic clampack as many collectors shy away from them and you may get a better price) and then you have a sheath you can use with both knives (exact same size).

I would stay away from the new Taylor/China sheaths. I hear that they are of an inferior grade.

GOOD POINT.
