i have a schrade uh lb7,excellent condition,s/n ay8o543. can any one tell me the year it was made and a good guess on value.

I cant tell you when it was made. But value is very subjective. Depends on condition, whether you have the sheath and it's condition, and even whether you have the original box and paperwork. Your best bet is to check ebay for comparable knives and what they have gone for.

The original USA made LB7 is a great knife, very well made and very sturdy. Lately it has been one of the best knife deals on ebay. I recently got one in new condition with a new condition sheath for less than $11.00 plus shipping. But there was a time, and will be again, when you couldn't touch one like it for under $35-40. ebay is really strange that way.

I got one in good shape from ebay for 8.26 with a sheath that looks like from Taylor but no problem, I had a Scrade sheath. the LB is definitely a Scrade stamped usa scrade +
